Final Blog Post - Assignment 7:
This course has been very helpful in learning all about global learning and its importance in all classroom settings, even in art. A lot of this course, went well with a course I already teach, called Art Around the World. While we don't make connections with students across the globe, we do study their country and their artwork. This class has shown me that incorporating this aspect of reaching out to students across the globe can really create a cross curricular connection for my students, that can have lasting impact on their influences in their creativity. This course has brought very practical information that can be used by anyone.
Lastly, I really am appreciative of in this class is our group work. I am usually one to work on my own and try to avoid group work - as it can be difficult to complete in an online course. However, this course placed us in a group setting, where I met other connections teachers that could relate to my field and vice versa. They have been a great benefit and help throughout this whole class and I am so thankful to have met them. Group work in this setting was easy to work out and we are very proud of our plan.
